The Role: Accounts Apprentice
Salary: £13.00 per hour.
Location: Motorpoint, Champion House (Salisbury House), Wyvern Business Park, Derby DE21 6LY.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday.

The role will include supporting meeting busy moth end deadlines. It is a fast environment where multi-tasking and attention to detail is a must. The role will support learning a broad spectrum of tasks across the accounts transactional team. As part of the apprenticeship, the work will include a day a week on training for a qualification and completion of an apprenticeship.
What will you be getting up to?
Support daily management of the Portal which contains customer refunds and payments
Daily raising of customer refunds via store requests
Timely and accurate credit of sales order on request
Support for customer refund and invoice queries including telephone calls
Allocation of customer finance payments
Raising payment requests for customer part exchange finance settlements
Internal store & customer telephone communication including query support & out bounding calls to customers
Processing of supplier invoices within Oracle NetSuite
Processing supplier payments
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Other Ad Hoc tasks as required
What do we need from you?
Demonstrate behaviours in a style that upholds the Motorpoint Core Values.
Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a positive manner.
Well organised, logical approach to workload with the ability to manage several processes and tasks at the same time and prioritise accordingly.
Thorough and consistent with attention to detail and accuracy, follows tasks through to completion.
Open minded, willing to give and receive feedback to improve performance.
Willingness to learn how processes work and suggest improvements with support.
Must be confident & willing to communicate via telephone
Good basic IT skills, with a willingness to learn new systems.
Developing administration skills and the ability to resolve issues with guidance.
Passionate and determined approach.
Takes responsibility for own actions and decisions.
Flexible and responds positively to change and willing to try new ideas.
Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
Essential:
GCSE Maths and English at grade A* - C (or 4 - 9), or willingness to work towards these as part of the apprenticeship.
