The Role: Sales Insight Analyst.
Salary: £30,000 per annum.
Location: Derby [Shelton House, Unit 7, Prime Enterprise Park, Prime Park Way, Derby, DE1 3QB].
Reports to: Sales Operations Manager.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 5 days, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

As the Sales Insight Analyst, you will report into the Online Sales Team Manager to report on and manage a range of sales interactions with our customers. This will cover analysis of calls using software like Infinity / Cisco Webex, reviewing enquiries and interactions from a range of marketing channels and advertising partners.
Joining the Online Sales team who are responsible for all Motorpoints sales from the website or phone, you will be dealing with a large team of sales operatives and range of technology solutions used to manage the workflows.
This is an exciting new role, working with the latest technology and systems to deliver improved customer experiences from sales to support.
What will you be getting up to?
Manage our sales technology solutions and the partner relationships who deliver elements like call tracking, transcripting, lead scoring etc. Currently this includes Infinity and Cisco Webex.
Produce and deliver reports back to the sales leadership on both individuals performance and team wide learnings that feed into wider process reviews and peoples development plans.
Review and refine end to end sales processes, working with marketing, store sales and online sales to create improved journeys for our customers.
Report on good activity and examples to share / inspire the teams but also problematic examples of non-compliant, poor sales behaviour that need to be addressed.
Analyse sales data and reporting dashboards, both in our solutions platforms directly but also exporting and manipulating in excel to discover insights and actions.
Ensure consistent data quality and tracking are in place, working directly with the data, IT and marketing teams to ensure robust process but also that sales operatives and filling out reports / updates in our sales management systems.
Find trends in customer language and behaviours to allow the development of training and coaching to improve sales results and overall sales process.
Keep on top of best in class tools in the market and thinking on sales analysis using AI and other alternative solutions to our current tech stack. We want you to own and lead on ensuring we have the best in class solutions.
What do we need from you?
A strong analytical background, with experience analysing data and business reporting looking for trends / insights.
Experience managing internal stakeholders and reporting on activity to both immediate line management and wider interested senior parties.
A positive mindset with a view to fixing issues and resolving challenges in a fast moving sales environment.
Experience working on enterprise grade software, not exclusively Infinity, Google Analytics or Webex but those would be a benefit.
