The Role
Job title: Marketing Executive
Reporting to: CRM Manager
Location: Hybrid (UK- based remote working with occasional travel required to Manchester, Derby, and other store locations across the UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
What will you be getting up to?
As the Marketing Executive you will join an exciting team of marketing professionals covering everything from social media, content creation, search marketing, brand media buying, customer relationship management (CRM), search engine optimization and more. Reporting to the CRM Manager your primary role will be to drive growth and excellence in all our email and messaging communications. In addition you will support content and search engine marketing efforts ensuring career development opportunities working with the relevant subject matter experts.
What do we need from you?
• Execute and deploy marketing emails and messaging (SMS / WhatsAPP etc) campaigns in our customer relationship management system Bloomreach.
• Support the CRM team in accurate campaign setup and timely execution
• Assist in creating targeted audience lists for campaigns, ultimately ensuring the right groups of people in our database receive relevant and timely messages and marketing offers.
• Conduct testing to ensure emails render, display and send correctly
• Brief designers at Motorpoint and / or agencies on required creative assets
• Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics
• Support compliance with data collection and consent best practices
• Optimisation of website elements such as page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure and internal links to benefit search engine optimization (SEO).
• Analyse website page content and recommend and implement changes to improve performance.
• Support the SEO Manager with the maintenance of Motorpoint’s search reporting infrastructure through keyword research and competitor analysis.
